As a Southern California native, my days have always been shaped by sun, breezy air, and a lifestyle that's constantly in motion. As a busy wife and mother, that movement only grew faster.

Somewhere in the middle of everyday life, I found myself craving a quiet moment of calm— something grounding, something just for me.

Tea has always been part of my story. Growing up, green tea was shared after every meal, a familiar ritual rooted in care and connection.

Returning to that practice became my pause, my reset.

That moment is what inspired Koko Cha. Our logo reflects the warmth of waves, sunny beach days and the calm rhythm of Southern California living.

The name KOKO was inspired by our beloved dog, a reminder of presence, joy, and unconditional love. Cha means tea in both Japanese and Thai—bringing together heart and tradition in every cup.

Our matcha is sourced from a premium sixth-generation family farm in Uji, Kyoto, chosen with intention and respect for tradition. Every accessory is handmade by Japanese artisans using eco-friendly materials, honoring craftsmanship and sustainability.

Giving back is at the heart of what we do-supporting tea farms and nonprofits focused on children's mental health, because calm and care should be shared.
